3rd annual Vegan picnic

Every year, a Vegan picnic is held, hosted by Azalea Bianca Antonio of Philippine Vegetarian Society.

(Thanks for the photos Azalea)

We (Cocogreen and Agico vegetarians) were invited for the first time.

Talks of business, leisure, politics and organic finds floated aboard.

Andrew brought a sushi platter, which was widely appreciated by the Vegan Club.

Everyone brought in their specialty dishes, ironically no one brought greens. We were so thrilled to have met the other members, we were able to brainstorm on new recipes, resto-finds as well as network.

Proof that vegans CAN get FAT when left to over indulge.

Vegan comma, Andrew and I felt so guilty we decided we’d kill the calories the next day by running. It’s easy to lose yourself with the various calorie-packed vegan alternatives available, so it’s still crucial that even on a plant-based diet, you do watch you eat (sugar, carbs are easy binge subjects) like everyone else.

First time I got a unanimous thumbs up for our cookies, apparently everyone wants it underbaked.
