True enough, My mom set me up to take Pranic healing, a contemporary type of energy healing not very different from Qigong and Reiki.
It’s where you learn to balance out one’s aura or energy field which has a direct impact on a person’s mental, emotional and physical state.
I was averse to the idea at first, feeling that I wasnt ready for it. Besides, my mom was already a gifted dedicated healer so naturally I would be inclined to want to do and be something else as to avoid the pressure of comparison…
But as usual, Life had other ideas.
And it always win, that stubborn Biotch.
Donna, Officially a Pranic Healer!
I was never going to go, but my good friend Donna Nufuente (she’s been appearing in my posts plenty) was so caught up in the
art of energy healing using Prana that her enthusiasm rubbed on me as well (quoting the line above “like a fool you must be led”).
She had the right intentions, to heal as opposed to mine which was not to get bored on an idle long weekend .
Which is maybe why she was more sensitive to the activities we underwent in. That and I was told she had a “bigger heart” [emotions] and I had a “bigger head” [mental] .
So while she easily recognizes the flow of energy she receives, I would squint and grind my teeth wondering what direction, color and form it’s coming from.
Talk about thinking too much.
But like everything else I allowed myself to be dragged into in terms of spiritual pursuits, (https://www.weizelgulfan.com/sunday-feast-at-the-harekrishna-temple/) I am always happy I made myself do it right after.

As with any other class, the teacher has the power to make a lesson life-changing or totally useless. Were lucky Miss Marilette Liongson, with her will-ful character, would have nothing less than the former.
Apart from the the techniques involved in Pranic healing, I especially discovered a lot about Karma and the many tricks it plays on us.
Karma hits me faster than anyone I know. And always, it comes to me in familiar terms.
There was never a moment that something unfortunate would fall upon me and I would question wether I deserved it or not.
Somehow I always knew.
“Karma hits us in a precise manner, never an ounce less or more,” revels Miss Liongson.
How come it comes to me sooner than most people? I asked.
She said that the more evolved you are as a human being, the more aware you are of it, but ignorance also wont immune you to the boomerang of life.
The credo is simple, even the Bible quotes it; “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
I asked her how you would strike a compromise when it comes to dilemma, “Like in business, you need to play the art of war, otherwise you just lose.”
“Then you lose, but you win something else, something much more valuable than what you gave up,” she answered.
Easier said than done, I told myself inwardly.
Then I started recalling all the tricks we pulled off to avoid losing revenues, all the problems that spawned from it and the never ending games we play with government, distributors, outlets and clients just to survive.
Could we have done it any other way? Can any business really run in an ideal-textbook manner?
I have yet to see one.
Do not disturb: Healing on-going
Discovering that a healer resides in all of us is a miracle in itself.

Living with a dedicated Pranic healer, I myself have experienced its benefits.
Shorter bouts with fever, (what used to be three days would be reduced into one).
Alleviated stress.
Overall serenity in the house.
Now that I am made more aware of how it works, I am more appriciative of my mom.
Whereas I used to roll my eyes at her healing services at the center, now I would tell her.
“Why dont you meditate everyday?” “Why are you still smoking” “Isnt it time you become a vegan too?”
There’s only one credo I cant seem to accept.
The virtue of none-stealing, coz according to Miss Liongson, I have to give up downloaded and pirated software.
I look at my Itunes and heave a sigh, “Nyahh!!!! Maybe when Im more evolved”
“Just because Science cannot detect Prana, doesnt mean it doesnt exist. It wasnt that long ago that we could not recognize electricity, but that doesnt mean that electricity did not exisit even then.” writes Pranic Healing founder, Master Choa Kok Sui in one of the slides displayed to us in the lecture.
Point.
Ignorance does not negate fact.
And how does science explain God?
It cannot. Not at its current stage. So it doesnt recognize one.
But it does recognize the inter-molecular connectivity in all of us.
In the same way it doesnt recognize prana, but it will confirm the change the body undergoes in after a successful healing.
The body doesnt lie.

I always wondered how billionaires made their loot from scratch, pen and paper please!
Unfortunately for amateur me these cited course can only be take on the Arhatic level, which I am three course away.
Sigh Dream, so near and yet so far!
Body Sculpting, Sexual Alchemy and Kriyashakti are my threesome of choice.
For now though, PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!
