Sleeping around in the club

I have a silly habit of dozing off amidst all the partying going-on in the club. Never realizing until now that it  provokes the wrong kind of curiosity among men. Ive been jolted up rudely several times by all too eager boys, asking me really rhetorical questions like; “Why are you sleeping?” Some even thought it was my “game” to seem “mysterious” and “stand-out.” Others just assumed I was wasted. No one thought the obvious, … Read the rest

Bliss Yoga Teachers Training; 30 days, 200 hours.

Three months into my Vinyasa yoga practice and already I had the guts to apply for Teachers Training. No second thoughts, only a prayer [Bliss Yoga] that they would they me in. They did. So when we were invited for a vegetarian buffet by our Harikrishna friends, we jumped at the chance.   We purchased the vegetarian burger (P30), vegetarian cookies (P50) and the pita breads (P50) later on. Donna loved them all but I only like the vegetarian patties and the pita bread as the cookies had milk which ended up ruining my stomach. … Read the rest

Beyond Yoga: Fort branch launch

Mushroom head they call me. Shrooms!”   I remember being asked by my friend Mike, (the brother of Pat Pelayo, one of the owners of Beyond Yoga) if it will be a conflict for me to drop by at the opening of Anti-Gravity yoga as I am a member of another studio, Bliss Yoga Makati. Fate plays: Heal-Om Festival 2012

Boring Sundays welcome spiritual stop-overs like these. The fact that I chose it over another unpaid magazine shoot just proves how unfulfilled I am by unprofitable modeling Good thing JM dragged me to this gathering of organizations involved in healing, yoga and natural foods ‘coz I was able to network for Cocogreen and Co (Cocogreen.ph). They had the best concession in the event, although I must note it was pretty bland compared to seasoned vegetarian … Read the rest
