Balinese cooking workshop @ Dahon Kusina

Perhaps Asha’s most soulful workshop, a taste of Balinese cusine with Ibu Nora of Soho Indonesia was an experience to keep biting back to. I took my first workshop with Asha two years back, we were learning Thai cuisine but what was imprinted in me then was Mindful language, something I lack in particular. Now, aside from the mouth-watering Balinese recipes, I learned the importance of plating and setting beautifully arranged dishes-again something I didnt … Read the rest

Yoga for the masses

We drove early Sunday for a Yogathon in response to an invitation Donna recieved from co-yoga teacher, Dennis.       The Dept. of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), true its name prides itself for this scenic view we indulged in. Cocogreen’s vegan favorites!

Vegans have the most discriminating taste buds, simply because of their palate sensitivity. The absence of meat has trained their sense of taste overtime to recognize even the most subtle hints of flavor. Which is why it’s important for any caterer, chef or cook to understand that the gauge in which vegetarians will judge a dish is not the same as that of regular customers. My mom being none-vegetarian for instance, will gear towards strong … Read the rest
