Sauerkraut is the NUMBER ONE SOURCE OF PROBIOTICS beating Kefir, yogurt and Kimchi. Thats right folks, be a Kraut Convert.
We all need probiotics in our gut as it allows have to have a good number of bacteria that ups our immunity, aids digestion and boosts metabolism. Surprisingly the acidic taste of Kraut is very alkalanizing for the body

I visited the Sta. Cruz Farmers Market on the hottest day of the Indian Summer, where wildfire is pretty common in the area.
